North Ridge Construction & Estate Management was started in 2010 by a local skilled craftsman named Sam Milligan. Sam’s passion for the art and science of building construction led him to start the company that allows him and his team to create the finest crafted homes with the most creative, functional designs using sound scientific building principles. The art and science of building a custom home takes skill, knowledge, and teamwork. The North Ridge team aspires to construct for its clients the highest quality custom home available. North Ridge has also completed major renovations to give an older home a completely new design. Sam and his team enjoy adding custom details to their projects, including constructing custom mantels, barn doors, and furnishings.
Meet The Team
President, Senior Business Development Manager
Sam has always been interested in construction and enjoyed learning to use tools in the workshop with his grandfather at a young age. He has worked on a wide array of projects large and small in both the residential and commercial construction markets. His passion is building custom homes with creative, original designs and quality construction that will last a lifetime.
Sam and his wife Alyssa are both natives of Indianapolis and now live in Westfield with their four children. Sam and his family enjoy camping, biking and spending time in the great outdoors, skiing out west in Colorado, and working together on projects from artisan furnishings to a huge treehouse.
Sam graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Building Construction Management. Before graduating from college, Sam earned the nickname “rafter rat” while working on a framing crew with a custom homebuilder. After working in the commercial industry for 7 years, Sam started North Ridge Construction to provide outstanding service and unparalleled quality to his clients in the residential market.

Marc is an artisan as well as a craftsman which provides a unique and skilled approach to constructing a custom home. Marc has managed a very diverse portfolio of projects. From massive projects like the fabrication and installation of the HVAC system of the new wing of the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to more niche projects like the restoration of a 1920’s firehouse into a custom home in the College Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, which was profiled in Cincinnati magazine March 2015 and seen on HGTVs “Yard Crashers” in 2013.
Marc and his wife Julie are also natives of Indianapolis and lifelong friends of the Milligans. Marc and Julie and their two sons are happy to be back in the area and are currently working on a renovation of their own in Carmel.
